Biking In the jungle of Manu National Park
BIKING IN TO MANU
4days 3 nights

DAY 1:-Departure from Cusco city very early in the  morning in one of our trucks specially prepared for this road. We will pass through interesting Inter-Andean valleys and picturesque farmer communities. In the middle of the day we are going to visit the pre-Inca buried towers of Ninamarca, known as “chullpas”. After that we will arrive to Paucartambo city, which is a typical colonial town. It had a lot of  importance and it still conserves it’s flavor.
Continuing  our trip we drive up until  the Abra of Accjanaco which is found at 3850 meters over the sea. From this point we start to go down by bike passing through the cloud forest, which is an area rich in endemic species as the spectacular “Andean Bear” and  “The Cook of the Rock”  (The Peruvian National Bird), “Orquis”, “Bromelias” and “Ferns” etc. Then in San Pedro we will visit a lek of “Andean Cook of the Rocks”, in which these birds every morning and afternoon made during a very interesting dance called “Displays”.
After this impressive experience we will go to the lodge in San Pedro where our delicious dinner is going to wait.
Option: This night is possible to have a night walk, where we have an opportunity to see many kinds of frog species and nocturnal insects.
DAY 2:- Before having our breakfast we will go back to visit the lek of the “Cook of the  Rock” where we are going to have a new opportunity to see them making “Displays”.
With more knowledge about these birds we can now return to the lodge, where we have a delicious breakfast. A few hours later we will continue going down by bike until the town, Pilcopata, where we have our lunch.
Option: This Day, it is possible to arrive to Santa Rosa de Huacaria native community.
  
DAY 3:- In Huacaria after enjoying the breakfast we will walk more or less for two hours  until arriving to the union of Piñi Piñi and Amalia rivers, where we can take a fresh bath and have the opportunity to fishing “Sabalos”.
Later in the afternoon we return to the native community and from there continue to Pilcopata.
Option: If you would have an interest in an Ayahuasca session, you have to stay the rest of the day and the following night  with the shaman in the native community.
  
DAY 4:- This day we will have an adventure in the morning, because we will start Rafting in Pilcopata river passing through the Ccoñec Canyon , where we also have the opportunity to swim. In Atalaya our truck is going to wait  to drive us to Cusco . FROM THERE OUR SERVICES END
