PERUVIAN COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM
TELEPHONE:
Peru has a modern telephone service using standard technology. Fixed and cellular telephony is provided by private companies, which has improved service.
Since the privatization of the telephone service, the State has played a supervisory and oversight role. National and international calls can be made from telephone booths, which operate with coins or cards purchased at kiosks and stores, without the need for operators.
Cellular telephony has also undergone great development. The coverage of cellular phones extends to the main cities of the country, which facilitates communication.
INTERNET :
The Internet is already a common means of communication in today's world. Most hotels, restaurants and public places have free wifi service.
AIRPORTS:
All international flights arrive and depart from Jorge Chavez International Airport, located in the Constitutional Province of Callao, 20 minutes from downtown Lima and 30 minutes from the residential and commercial districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. It is currently managed by the international consortium Lima Airport Partners.
