This tour visits the Huacarpay, the first part of Manu road, this tour is good to get acclimatize to the Andes.

Tour Itinerary

This day we will head towards the Incan Sacred Valley and before we reach Ollantaytambo we will stop in two Andean lakes, at the lakes we will see Cinnamon teal, Plumbeous Rail, Puna teal, Giant Hummingbird, Many-coloured rush tyrant, etc. with luck you will also might observe a “Blue-winged teal”. At Ollantaytambo we will be able to observe Sparkling Violetear, Tyrian Metaltail, Black-tailed Trainbearer, Green-tailed Trainbearer, Shining Sunbeam, White-bellied Woodstar, Green and White Hummingbird, Giant Hummingbird, White-tufted sunbeam, Sword-billed hummingbird, Great Sapphirewing among other species of birds.

In the afternoon we will visit our last bird garden located near San Salvador at the Incan Sacred valley, the target species at this place are the Endemic Bearded mountaineer and the Chestnut-breasted mountain finch. We will arrive to Cusco around 5pm.
